Zomega Terahertz Corporation was formed in 2005 to commercialize recent advances in terahertz technology developed at the Center for Terahertz Research at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Meet the Zomega team:

	Dr. X.-C. Zhang, President, Chief Technology Officer Dr. Zhang received 15 patents and 13 patent pending, published 8 books and book chapters, authored and co-authored over 270 refereed journal papers, delivered over 340 colloquium, seminars, invited conference presentations, and 200 contributed conference talks (since 1990). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Optical Society of America, the American Physics Society, and World Innovation Foundation. Dr. Zhang has been active in pulsed THz research since 1988.
	Thomas Tongue, Chief Executive Officer With over ten years of entrepreneurial and management experience, and a strong technical background founded in his Masters degree in Physics, Thomas bridges the gap between the technical potential of terahertz imaging and the market. His prior start-up experience includes co-founding Imagiware, Inc., an Internet solution provider focusing on web presence and software development, which he bootstrapped to profitability by mid-1996. Thomas earned his MBA from the Lally School of Management & Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
	Wendy Zhang, Chief Financial Officer Wendys prior experience with managing startups, combined with her pursuit of an MBA through the Lally School of Management & Technology, makes her a valuable asset to the Zomega management team. Wendys experience operating Zomega Technology Corporation, the company which spun out Zomega Terahertz Corporation, will insure continuity as we complete the transition to an independent corporation.
